Kathy C.

Head Veterinary Technician
Kathy was born and raised here in Colchester. She received her B.S. in Animal Science from UVM in 1999. She joined the MBVH family soon after, where she has grown into her role as lead technician. She has an essential role in training new employees and serves as our lead surgical technician.

When she isn’t at work, she can be found at home crafting, cooking, or watching British period dramas with her pug Sadie and her cat Jake!

 


 

Samantha R., M.B.A.

Practice Manager

Samantha began working at Malletts Bay Veterinary Hospital in 2008. She grew up in Connecticut and began volunteering and working at her local veterinary hospital, where she ignited a passion for the care of animals. She received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2008 from the University of Vermont and has been a Vermont resident since graduation.

In 2017, she pursued another area of interest and received her Master’s of Business Administration with a certificate in Advanced Management from Champlain College. She has a mixed-breed dog named Shelby and two orange, misfit kitties, Mike Wazowski and Celia. She enjoys running, cooking, and gardening.

 


 

Lexie O.

Veterinary Technician/Client Service Representative
Lexie graduated from UVM in 2014 with a degree in Education and started her animal science career at the Humane Society of Chittenden County as an animal care and adoption coordinator. She joined the Malletts Bay team in 2016 after wanting to focus more on veterinary medicine.

In her free time, Lexie enjoys skiing, cooking, crafting with her daughter, and snuggling her rescue dog Shelby.

 


 

Bryanna B.

Veterinary Technician
Bryanna is a native of Colchester, Vermont. She joined the Malletts Bay team in 2021. She graduated in 2020 from Rice High School and then volunteered at the Humane Society of Chittenden County. She is currently taking classes to earn her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.

She is heavily involved in training our new employees and plays an integral role as one of our surgical technicians. In her free time, Bryanna enjoys pet sitting, volunteering, riding horses, and coaching softball.

 


 

Sabrina C.

Veterinary Assistant

Coming from a background in music and the arts, Sabrina moved to Burlington in 2018. She started her own band, wrote her first album, and played at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC. She has succeeded as a snowboard instructor, a chef, a baker, and even a music teacher to children. In 2023, Sabrina decided to forge a career path in the animal care field and has been with MBVH ever since. She now lives in Colchester with her two pups, Molly and Penny.

 


 

Bailey L.

Veterinary Assistant
Bailey is a native Vermonter born and raised in Colchester. Growing up, she always had a passion for animals, and she followed that passion to the University of Vermont, where she received her B.S. in Zoology in 2022.

Later that year, she joined the MBVH team as a Veterinary Technician. In her free time, Bailey enjoys hiking, reading, and cuddling with her 9-year-old dog Fiona.

 


 

Arri S.

Veterinary Assistant
A Los Angeles native, Arri has a background in childcare and veterinary medicine. She joined the MBVH team in 2023. She is one of our surgical techs, as well as caring for patients in appointments.

She lives with her boyfriend and cane corso, Miami. When not working, she can be found snuggling Miami or traveling.

 


 

Jess C.

Veterinary Technician
Jess has an extensive equestrian background, owning two horses as well as her own horse training business. She is one of our essential surgical technicians, as well as caring for patients in appointments.

She enjoys cooking, traveling, and snuggling with her three dogs and cat at home.

 


 

Emma A.

Veterinary Assistant
Emma is from the Berkshires, MA, and is currently an Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary student at UVM. She has always loved helping animals and hopes to travel and become a wildlife vet.

In her free time, she raises service dogs for the UVM club UPRAWR.

 


 

Cas S.

Veterinary Technician
Originally from upstate New York, Cas is a current pre-veterinary student at UVM and has worked in the veterinary field since high school. In addition to his veterinary work, Cas is a dog handler and musher at a local racing sled dog kennel.

Cas has a special interest in wildlife and working dog medicine.

 


 

Eileen

Veterinary Technician, LVT
Eileen grew up in Hinesburg VT on her family’s sheep and produce farm. She attended Mount Ida College in Massachusetts before returning to Vermont to finish her degree in Veterinary Technology at Vermont Technical College. In May of 2020, she graduated with an A.A.S in Veterinary Technology and earned her license. Thereafter, she attended UVM and attained a B.S. in Public Communication concentrating in Design. Eileen has been in the veterinary field for 5 years, working in both general practice and urgent care. At home, she has an exotic breed of cat named Squeaks and a bearded dragon named Mimosa. She has Dorper ewes and lambs at her family’s house. In her free time, she
enjoys reading her Kindle, spending time at the beach, skiing, and hanging out with friends and family.


 

Kelsey

Veterinary Technician
Kelsey joined the MBVH team in 2025, coming to us with an extensive 8-year background in teching. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at NVU. Her passion is rescue dogs, she has fostered many dogs and is always a big supporter of adopting dogs and rescue work. She owns a mixed-breed dog named Jasper whom she adopted locally in 2018. In her spare time, she loves hiking with her dog and playing with her nephews.
